  5. Maintaining a vehicle can hold your vehicle working good for a very long time. It needs routine maintenance like oil adjustments, fuel filter and air filter change or tune-ups. Generally there are even sudden repairs that need to be tended to. Like having an accident or being involved in one. One of the best ways to keep your vehicle maintained is to take it to a mechanic on an everyday basis.

  13. Putting your car in storage is one of the best solutions especially if you are going on a trip or when the winter sets in. But before you park your car on storage, you have to prep you automotive and do some before-storing maintenance. Drain your car fluids and remove the battery from the car. Talk to the storage supervisor about the condition of your vehicle and make sure to get it covered to avoid dust from getting inside your vehicle.

  15. The other day I took my car to an auto repair shop, and they looked over it and gave me an estimate. The estimate was outrageous, and I decided to not have my car worked on at this particular shop. They told me that it was the cheapest price that I would be able to find, but I took it to another shop, and when they did the estimate, it was about half the price of the first shop. What is it about auto repair that makes it so different in price? Do they order different brands of the parts that they use? Is the quality of the parts better and longer lasting? Or is the labor more expensive at one place than the other?
